SSI Advanced Adventurer

You have obtained your Open Water Diver certification and joined the global community of passionate divers. If you’re unsure about the next step in your diving journey, the Advanced Adventurer program can help you.

Choose five SSI Specialty programs that interest you, such as Boat Diving, Navigation, Nitrox, Perfect Buoyancy, Dry Suit Diving, or Night Diving! After selecting your five programs, read the corresponding chapters in your manual to gain in-depth knowledge and the required experience for each program. Your SSI Dive Professional will then conduct a pre-dive technical briefing and accompany you on a discovery dive for each of the chosen programs.

To become an Advanced Adventurer diver and be authorized to dive up to 30 meters in waters worldwide, you will need to complete five specialty dives. This program emphasizes practical experience, with minimal theory to study and no exams to take.
