The SSI Dive Guide program is the first step in an exciting journey. Learn how to safely guide certified divers in various environments and conditions. By providing dive briefings, conducting site assessments, and leading dives, you will become a confident dive guide in no time. Start your diving career by working as a Professional Dive Guide or continue your qualifications to become a Divemaster.
Requirements
To have completed at least the Advanced Adventurer program or hold an equivalent certification issued by a recognized agency.
To hold the Diver Stress and Rescue certification or its equivalent.
To have completed a minimum of 40 dives in total in natural environments, totaling at least 25 hours of diving.
To have completed the following Specialty programs or provide proof of at least five (5) validated experience dives in each of the following areas: Navigation, Night/Limited Visibility, and Deep Diving.
