SSI React right

React Right is the SSI Emergency First Response course that provides you with the training and knowledge needed to act as a first responder in case of a medical emergency.

Combine this training with the SSI Diver Stress & Rescue program, and you will have a better understanding of how to respond to divers and emergencies. First aid techniques are constantly evolving, making this session interesting for both new and experienced SSI responders when it comes to assisting a distressed diver.

This session consists of two parts. In the first part, you will study the course materials on your own and complete review questions at your own pace and in the environment that suits you best. The second part is a skills development session conducted by an SSI First Aid Instructor, where you will refine and demonstrate your new first aid skills through role-playing scenarios. During this session, you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have and take a written exam. Once you have acquired all the training competencies, you will be certified as an SSI Responder – a certification valid for two years.

By the end of this course, you will be able to recognize and respond to emergency situations with first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). You will be capable of avoiding inappropriate actions that may worsen the condition of a victim.

The purpose of this training is not to replace comprehensive medical emergency training (such as emergency services or more extensive medical training).
